As of now, hapi is no longer supported on node v0.10 (or any other 0.x version). No bug fixes or critical security patches will be released.
You must upgrade to the latest version (v13.x as of this time) and use either node v4 or v6. At this time both v4 and v6 are supported. When hapi starts using features available only in node v6 or when v4 presents other challenges, we will announce our LTS support plan and schedule.
