mentee vs intern #334

The "Intern Travel Stipend" section says: "Your mentee is eligible for a $500 USD travel stipend." Elsewhere on the same page, the word "intern" is used rather than "mentee". It would be simpler to be consistent.

Language is hard. :smiley_cat: The problem is that the travel stipend section applies for two years. So it applies both during the internship (when the mentee is an intern) and after the internship ends, when the mentee is an Outreachy alum (and no longer an intern). Mentee applies both before and after the internship ends, in my mind, and was a compromise to cover both cases. I agree it could be confusing.

We could change the paragraph based on whether the internship is active. When the internship is active, it could say:

"Your intern is eligible for a $500 USD travel stipend."

After the internship is ended, it could say:

"Your former intern is eligible for a $500 USD travel stipend."

What do you think?

Yes, that could work.
