[Bug] 0.9.8-18: Changing system IP makes editing web domains return "Parsing Error" on save. #1424

Open ct-martin opened 6 years ago

ct-martin commented 6 years ago

Operating System (OS/VERSION):

Debian 9

VestaCP Version:

0.9.8-18

Installed Software (what you got with the installer):

Apache, Nginx, MySQL, BIND, vsftpd

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Fresh install
  2. Change the IP address of the server within the panel (DNS)
  3. Attempt to save the initially created domain Should fail with "Parsing error"

Related Issues/Forum Threads:

230

Other Notes:

In my case this results from VestaCP automatically using my public IP while this is to be used internally, so my local IP is the correct one. According to #230, this can also occur when a host changes the IP assigned to a user.

Additional note: I can't fix the subnet mask of the IP in the DNS records either
