I haven't got around suexec
on Debian 10 so I guess no for the moment.
That was the only dependency that causes problems, as far a I remember
EDIT: Seems like the package was added again to the repos. But, I have no time at the moment to try it out.
So my curiosity won... there are still some packages that are not available even after heavily modifying vst-install-debian.sh
libapache2-mod-ruid2
phpmyadmin
rssh
If you are using php-fpm
you could get away without libapache2-mod-ruid2
phpmyadmin
can easily be ignored and, I guess if you completely disable shh and ftp for any user, you can live without rssh
There is still a lot to do with the configurations files. And if the packages mentioned above were to be removed/disabled (just to make it work) there are some places on the install script (and probably template files) that would need to be modified.
For example, packages mysql-*
would need to be changed to mariadb-*
