Operating System (OS/VERSION):

Type here, e.g. CentOS 6

VestaCP Version:

Version: 0.9.8

Installed Software (what you got with the installer):

WEB Server: nginx:80 () SSL Support: openssl:443 WEB Backend: php5-fpm Web Stats: webalizer, awstats FTP Server: proftpd Mail Server: exim4 + dovecot Database: mysql DNS server: bind9 CRON: cron Firewall: iptables+ fail2ban Backups: local Disk Quota: yes

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Add new domain
  2. Select SSL and Lets Encrypt support
  3. Domain will be added without SSL/ Lets Encrypt support. You hav to edit the domain again and select it

same problem

there's command substitution which only gets "stdout" of lets encrypt command line tool. while error is actually on "stderr"

if you will have a look to /var/log/vesta/error.log and run command from that log manually, you will see actual error.

it was "too many azure.com certificates already" in my case

I'm going to fix that command substitution soon

Dont see this issue, but maybe happen because domain need resolve to install lets encrtypt if you add domain and lets encrypt at once maybe ssl can fail, so is better not add it at time-
