Hercules DJ Control Inpulse 300 invisible to Studio-controls, but qjackctl can see it #53

Hello. I just purchased a DJ Control Inpulse 300. Its a dj mixer with in built sound card. Its class compliant. https://www.hercules.com/en-us/product/djcontrolinpulse300/

The device functions with pulse audio, I am also able to select and use the device using qjackctl, but Studio Controls simply does not see it.

Qjackctl detects the device under interface as "hw:D300 Dj Control Inpulse 300 (hw:2)"

sorry, please ignore this. i do know the difference between Jack Master Device (no USB): and USB device that should be master, but I'm tired and wasn't thinking clearly. :)
