In terms of 'ease of use / quality of life' changes adding a building grouping would help setting up permissions faster and easier.
For example MRPD building, you just set the permissions for jobs, groups, and other requirements for one building. Then you can assign the doors to a building. This could be added on the left hand side of the doors. The other functionality could remain as well if you only need to lock one door without assigning it to a building.
There could also be a building column besides Zone so users can sort/search for buildings instead of just a door name.
