Steam Auto-Updates #4

After running through the process yesterday and successfully launching into Fallout London, steam auto updated Fallout 4 when I changed into gaming mode and launched Fallout 4.

This resulted in the deck crashing and rebooting to the home screen after "verifying installation"

Did you disable steam auto updates using our script?

Please run those 2 commands and share the output: lsattr "$HOME/.steam/steam/steamapps/appmanifest_377160.acf" lsattr "/run/media/mmcblk0p1/steamapps/appmanifest_377160.acf"

They were disabled using the scripts, I don't know why it auto updated as I had to run the "re-enable" script to delete the app manifest to reinstall.

After uninstalling and reinstalling Fo4 from steam and Fallout: London from Heroic, I now have an issue where the F: drive will not show up, see below: FoL

(I made sure there were no other external drives connected)

This should be easy :) Open 2 Konsole windows.

  1. Run the script one more time
  2. Click on "Change location" as you see here: image
  3. While on this screen you will need to type commands in the other konsole window. image

  2. Try to install and let me know how it went.

I had to exit out of the select location screen after running the commands, but once I reopened it the F: Drive was there and working!
