Notes: Forests do span nodes, but don't live in isolation in a volume.

Therefore we have agreed to examine each volume (and sum of all forests on the volume x 1.5) rather than each forest.

"1.5x is the multiplier", e.g. 100GB would need 150GB total and therefore 50GB free for the environment to be 'safe'.

If 200GB is available, then you have 'free' space (negative number perhaps). New Relic doesn't allow negative numbers.

An Alert would be best for this, but the scope of this item does not include alerts.

Agreed: Plot the required headroom space (per volume). Plot the difference. You can then see trajectories
