-- and "" used to be replaced with em dash and smart quotes before, but at some point recently it broke.

I'm using Telegram macOS 10.2.254873 Stable on macOS Sonoma 14.1.

"Use smart quotes and dashes" is enabled in macOS settings, and also works in other native apps like Things 3 or Reminders.

Works again as of 10.6.258516
