[BUG] App keeps saying "Updating...", but does not connect, load chats, groups or channels #1048

After opening the application, the window title bar keeps saying "Updating" without updating any conversations, chats, or groups:

When removing and re-adding an account (logging in is working), all chats are failing to load:

This happens with every account. No proxies of any kind have been configured, and network connection is working.

The same thing happened today. It's not the first time.

Even when connecting to the MTProto proxy (connection is successful), the eternal “Updating” hangs.

Reinstalling fixes this the problem appears after updating macOS to 14.2
