Censorship in Non-AppStore version started already after updating to Version 10.10.2 (262033) Beta to the next same-day-build and is still remaining until 10.14 latest Beta. Support doesn't care, also on other important issues. #1128

Until Telegram for macOS 10.10.1 everything was fine for me for about 10 years of usage. Beginning with the second beta (release date is same as first one) of version 10.10.2 on April 11th 2024 several of my subscribed to channels and channel comment section got censored with a "can't be displayed on your device" message or simply you don't see any comment even though there is a number displayed, but no hint why they are not visible.

Only downgrading the App fixes this.

The other App Telegram Desktop doesn't do this. So why has this one to do it what is official advertised as macOS version on your website and the other one that I personally simply don't like is hidden in the Windows/Linux section.

If this is on purpose and not a glitch with forgotten AppStore-code in this version, I would like to know, because then it's finally time to switch to a decentralized messenger that is not doing things like this. Especially if Telegram doesn't has a support that is able to answers questions anywhere because of this issue. They didn't even answer why they deleted my prepaid 12 month Premium Account after only two month. I haven't even written in any of those censored comment sections, just in a very small private group.

Bumping, I exhibit this issue too.

Doesn't Telegram have any real support? I am quite sure this is a bug and reporting it here seems not to make any sense.

The email address never answers to anything, Even if your account was banned for no reason and you just paid for premium a year in advance or to that auto-generated email that the SMS code did not arrive or just asking if this censorship is a bug.

Maybe I really have to look into that Beta group. But the chance is high only users are in there, who mainly use mobile clients or the universal desktop client, what is like the browser version.

Doesn't Telegram have any real support?

It can be observed that most people who lose their accounts due to hackers, receive no to little support from Telegram. There is real support, but it's tiny for to the scale of Telegram user base...

Now that Telegram's CEO is essentially held hostage by the France's government, what we can expect is more resources allocated to provide support and censorship will be permanently enabled in any clients unconditionally, regardless of where the applications are hosted.
