Face HD Camera freezes on Macbook Pro 13 M1 Apple Silicon #580

Face HD Camera freezes when video calling with others on new Apple Silicon chip (I've Macbook Pro 13 M1)

Same problem.

I've found a problem, also with the update 7.4.0, using videocalls on Telegram on macOS Big Sur 11.1 and MacBook Pro with M1 chip. Starting a videochat (or receiving one) the webcam starts working great and, after few seconds, the image stucks. Also disable and re-enable it shows the previous frame after the stuck.

After closing the videocall, green led stills on. It's necessary force the closing of Telegram and re-open it. I've tried also with an external webcam and the problem is the same.

Configuration Operating system: macOS Big Sur 11.1 MacBook Pro M1

Version of Telegram: 7.4

Used theme Night mode

I tried installing Telegram from beta channel, but same problem

Macbook Pro 13' M1 (8/256) OS: macOS Big Sur 11.1

I have the same issue with my camera freezing while using Microsoft Teams (v.1.4.00.11161) in a MacBook Air( M1, 2020) with Big Sur v. 11.3.1 (20E241). Turning it off/on again unfreezes, but it is very annoying...
