Telegram opens its window when it receives focus after closing another app #824

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Telegram.
  2. Close its window (Command + W).
  3. Open any other app.
  4. Quit this app (Command + Q).

Expected behaviour

  1. Other app closes.
  2. Telegram or some app used before it gets the focus.
  3. Nothing else happens.

Actual behaviour

  1. Other app closes.
  2. If Settings - General - Show Icon in Menu Bar is enabled, Telegram receives focus and opens its window. If it is disabled, the focus goes to the application that was used before Telegram, and Telegram does not open its window (which is the expected behaviour, but the icon is missing).

macOS Monterey 12.5.1 (21G83)

Me too. Additionally, this has been a long-standing bug, which also appears on Ventura (I guess this actually happens to every modern macOS).

I'm using 9.2.1.240459 Stable from the official website.

I've also had this issue for quite some time now. Feels like it's been a year+.

+1 That's long-lasting bug and nothing happens to fix it. Ventura 13.4.1
