Web app does not open with link #988

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a bot and a web app using BotFather
  2. Have the web app show something, e.g. a blank page.
  3. Write a link in the form https://t.me/botusername/appname?startapp=command
  4. Click the link

Expected behaviour

The web app should open.

Actual behaviour

The Telegram window just shakes. However, if I copy the link in a browser window and open it that way, then it works.

macOS Ventura 13.4 (22F66)

Version of Telegram for macOS

9.6.3.245683 Stable
