I see in my settings that "Avatar/collisionSoundURL" is pointing to the "Body_Hits_Impact.wav" file on Vircadia's server... which is no more available.
Like for the default "image" and default "particle texture", I think we should consider to have this sound file in the installer resources for the default value.
(if I remember well we moved the image and particle texture again in resources cause Vircadia had previously moved this on their online storage. (Now we can see that it was a questionable decision.)
I made a quick search... and it seems we have some inexact location for it.. (Old Hifi servers, Vircadia servers, incomplete url)
_If we start with fresh setting, we get this value
"Avatar/collisionSoundURL": "sounds/Collisions-otherorganic/Body_Hits_Impact.wav",
Not sure this could work._
Note: For your information the this setting is editable in the Avatar App. > preferences
So currently, the vircadia server has been flush so it play no sound at all.
To Do:
Put the file "Body_Hits_Impact.wav" in resources.
Replace the default value in settings.
Harmonize the code (cause we have many diffirent location currently)
