this looks useful, but it seems it was considerably modified in later commits

Is this just cache busting by appending timestamp to the URL? if so, please ensure it also works with odd cloud hosting URL's like Dropbox: https://www.dropbox.com/s/00h7qub61aono1w/OldTimeyTurnTable.fbx?dl=1 as well as previously manually cache busted URL's with #something or &something appended to it
