does overtone support vim mode? #190

I tried to install evil, but it seems not to be in the packages list.

Having the same issue. Followed the instructions on the live pack, but to no avail. https://github.com/siancu/evilmode-pack

I want evil mode available right through the installer the same way as http://spacemacs.org/

For the record Emacs Live is my Emacs config packaged in a way that other people can play with. Its goal is not to be as modular and configurable as something like spacemacs or prelude.

Also, Emacs Live was created before Emacs had a package manager - so there's no major surprise that the packages system doesn't work out of the box.

Still, I don't understand why @siancu's evil pack doesn't work. You should definitely discuss it on the issue tracker over there.
