Mockup 1

samaaron commented 12 years ago

We've recently moved the 'vertone' part of the of the logo such that the white o is the o in overtone. Other than that it looks awesome :-)

Mockup 2. The (tint)ing of the larger ring is totally an option!

On master. The logo lights up, but there may be a cooler way to colorize it. That's for another issue. ;)

Looks awesome!

I was wondering whether it would look cool to put some beast claw marks in the space underneath the logo. Something like one of these:

http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=claw+marks+logo&hl=en&client=safari&rls=en&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=B3n6T-qfHdOa0QWWwrGXBw&ved=0CFIQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=914

It might also be nice to put the version string at the bottom right just above the keyboard.

Although the o in the overtone isn't correctly aligned with the bigger ring....

samaaron commented 12 years ago

Ah, it is aligned correctly on master. :-)

I wonder if the fading ring really improves things? I thought the glowing pink looked very cool...
