Spot instances #196

As a user I want to be able to use Spot instances in different public cloud services (IAAS, MKS ...) I want to be able to consume these features through standard APIs / OVHcloud Customer panel

Spot instances would be really a good feature particular for stateless ML workloads. Can you consider this as a feature request?

Hello ! As you may have seen we are actively developping the saving plans ( https://github.com/ovh/public-cloud-roadmap/issues/67 ) and offer new compute range with very attractive both for on demand hourly and "cloud-native-compatible" commit. We plan to deliver that during the next 6 months, but indeed we could imagine additionnal models in the future and spot/preimptible instances is a model we are considering. We are interested in more details about what you expect, as there are many ways to offer this and we want to try to keep our very interesting price/perf ratio while keep the pricing "straigth" and limit customer efforts to optimize for the cost.

If you have experience with other providers do not hesitate to share what you like and don't like in their spot/preimptible models here. Do not also hesitate to share specific flavor you are looking to use with this pricing model.
