Budget Estimation Tools #224

As a solution architect / developer, considering porting tools I have developed in my R&D team on standalone machines towards the cloud, I want to be able to quickly assess the economics of the different options I could choose from (public/private cloud, different orchestration frameworks, storage, etc). One way I would think feasible to do that is to set up a quick "cloud PoC" and run for some hours. Then, I would like OVHcloud to be able to provide me with a precise synthesis of how much I have spent in these few hours, all inclusive. This would then allow me to validate my business plan and kick off the cloud project. Ideally I would also like to get an assessment of cost compared on OVHcloud competitors AWS, Google, Azure.

1- OVHcloud Customer control panel provides a live report of your Public Cloud consumption (Billing Control section). 2- TCO calculator integrating competitors pricing is clearly not something easy to produce. Some companies are investing a lot to produce and maintain such tools.
