OW Mod Manager doesn't launch my game! #169

Since I downloaded 1.12.2, whenever I try to launch the game (with or without mods) it doesn't launch. The logs don't say anything about any error or something so I don't really know what is happening. Anything I can do to fix this?

I have the same problem on 1.17.2 with the Steam copy of the game (with DLC). While the mod manager UI doesn't show any logs, I was able to see an exception when running OWML.Launcher.exe directly: MissingMethodException:

@Raicuparta and @MegaPiggy, any ideas on what to try next? It looks like many of the open issues are related to launching the game. Maybe they share this root cause?

Update: If I download OWML from the GitHub release page (tested 2.9.0 and 2.8.0, both work), copy the mods from OW Mod Manager into the mods directory of the newly extracted OWML, and run OWML.Launcher.exe, the game starts and the mods load without issue. So it does appear to be a bug in OW Mod Manager.
