How does Amass differ from other existing tools in the industry such as spiderfoot or recon-ng?

There are probably many differences. I haven't had time to evaluate all of them. I know SpiderFoot is now owned by Intel 471 and they are both written in Python. Amass users report obtaining a larger number of discovered assets than that produced by alternative tools. Please let me know on Discord if you become aware of any significant differences
