support to also remove the Bluetooth tethering icon #4

Would be cool to have this icon disabled also :)

Hi @steve51184

Do you mean the Bluetooth icon shown in the status bar when Bluetooth is turned on?

On my device, this icon is displayed whenever Bluetooth is enabled, whether the gear (gear1 in my case) is paired. It is always the same icon for me.

I could look into hiding this icon, sure, let me know if that's what you mean.

Disabling that icon would also be a cool option but no I mean the blue bluetooth icon for when bluetooth tethering is enabled

option is in settings > connections > more networks > tethering and personl hot spots > bluetooth tethering

I can look into it, but how come you need tethering enabled for the gear?

I have my gear rooted with null_ rom installed basically making it a mini yet full android device so for it to have Internet access without any wifi it has to be tethered via bluetooth

Makes sense, I'll take a look into what would be needed for this. Might need to rename this module to something else if I'm adding more features that are not just notification related. :)
