Data descrepancy for covid confirmed cases (China) location on the dates `10-11-2022` and `14-11-2022` #2756

Description

As per the checks for the dates 10-11-2022 and 14-11-2022 total confirmed cases showing on search is 1438 and 15521 and same data is available on OWID source link - (https://raw.githubusercontent.com/owid/covid-19-data/master/public/data/jhu/new_cases.csv). As per official website total confirmed cases are 1,209 source link - http://www.nhc.gov.cn/xcs/yqtb/202211/2fc59ba8cc0d449891bd2b157899feb7.shtml

We have check other official websites worldometers where confirmed cases are 1185 & 1794 which match with the stats on official government website

We source our data on COVID-19 confirmed cases and deaths from the COVID-19 Data Repository by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University: https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19. This page also lists their sources, country by country. We report this data without alterations, but issues can be raised in their GitHub repository: https://github.com/CSSEGISandData/COVID-19/issues.

A small note is that we estimate new_cases based on the difference of total_cases, which is what CSSE reports at the moment.

We do not plan on reporting confirmed cases and confirmed deaths from other sources at the moment.
