It would be advantageous if the saved synth patches were in a text format (JSON, XML, etc,) which allows simpler version control of sounds and may allow simpler external editing of sounds, e.g. I want to create a synth that is duplicated several times and uses a function to implement keyboard split points. I could do this by copy and pasting sections.
This could be an export / import feature but if that were implemented for all elements of the instrument then it would seem wasteful to have two save formats although ModSynth should continue to read old format at least for a migration period.
