The oscilloscope is a very useful instrument, therefore without voltage (or level #) and time scala it is just a little more as a useless toy.
Time division selection would make the signal trace more readable. Actually, the scope is useless for low frequencies, like LFO's...
BTW - A (else rough) visualization on the frequency domain (spectrum analysis) would be very helpful to evaluate and setup filter action on signals.
Both instruments can be used alternatively.
There is need to show them at the same time.
Last but not least on this item. Freely pointing to an intended module's output and reading on the scope what kind of signal is present there, would enable to quickly understand the reason of unexpected results, and simplify step by step shaping of the signal as intended too.
