Huge solar arrays of Powah solar panels need one pipe extracting power per solar panel. Even if Powah is optimized, I have to guess this causes more stress than if Powah solar panels connected into one big array, and that you only needed one extracting pipe to get the power.
EnderIO Solar Panels have had this capability for a while, and they are extremely server-friendly thanks to that as well. This also reduces the amount of tileentities required to extract all the power. They look better as well since there's less janky cables underneath.
I understand this might not fit your vision of your mod and in that case, please close this ticket.
