the proposal is to download wicionario and try to complete the intersetion of OWN-PT and wicionario, as described in Verena Henrich, Erhard Hinrichs, and Tatiana Vodolazova: Semi-Automatic Extension of GermaNet with Sense Definitions from Wiktionary. In Proceedings of 5th Language & Technology Conference (LTC 2011), Poznań, Poland, November 2011, pp. 126-130. Alexandre, these are totally different subjects. One thing, that it's important for anyone working with wordnets, is to know how many of the synsets have examples and definitions, as they are in PWN. (Having examples and glosses makes them better synsets, more robust ones, I'd say. ) This counting I expect is easy for Fabricio to do, since he has had to process all of the glosses/examples when doing the Watson translate. so it should be just a question of counting.)

A totally different idea is to complete our Portuguese wordnet, but using the text of Wiktionary, following the model suggested for German, suggested by the paper above. this is more of a longish project, as it would mean processing wiktionary, which is not very easy, as they say in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3364279/has-anyone-parsed-wiktionary
