Feature request: support for YOURLS url shortner #1700

It would be nice if there was an app that would integrate with the YOURLS url shortener such that when a file is shared by link, the link would be automatically shortened with a self-hosted YOURLS instance.

YOURLS comes with an API, which would hopefully make it easy to integrate with ownCloud:

What about the shorty app? I didn't test it yet, so I can't say for sure, but to me shorty sounds like an URL shortener service ...

@Kondou-ger no, that's an app with a different goal. It provides an intermediate URL (which is, btw, not that much shorter than the original URL), and that is something I don't need. I need a link as generated by YOURLS.

@mdimjasevic feel free to implement such an app - I'm closing this as I don't see this happen in the scope of the current team
