Doodle functionality for ownCloud #1983

I just noticed that there is no good Open Source alternative to the old yet popular Doodle. Having an app for the planning of meetings and appointments for ownCloud would be awesome and would be an unique characteristic that would make it another tiny bit more attractive for both personal and business use cases in my opinion.
What do you think?

Agreed. Do you want to work on such an app?

I would love to but sadly I'm busy with don't have enough time for projects like this right now. Maybe when I'm done with school (~ seven months). Also I'm not that good at developing yet. O:-)
Do you happen to know anybody who would like to develop an app for this purpose?
