OC 9.0 document preview in files

I have upgraded to OC 9.0 using the tar.bz2 file. I am having an issue where when I try to open a *.odt file the document will not open when in the files app and offers it as a download.

If I am in the documents app it will open and edit *.odt with out issue.

I am using ubuntu 14.04 and everything was working fine with OC 8.2.2

my guess something with the database, not sure of the mysql commands to remove it or I would try

@tony5 Which version of the documents app did you have enabled? Currently it seems an outdated 0.9.2 is provided for oC9 users: https://github.com/owncloud/documents/issues/620

@RealRancor I did notice the outdated 0.9.2 version and manually upgraded to Documents 0.12.0 I think as a result the database is now slightly broken. on a test system, a clean install will work fine. oh well, I guess I could just rebuild everything.

Got the same error. With OC9 and Documents 0.12.0

628 solved it.

Now, by clicking the filename, the prewiev is opened. And the edit option was in the files menu. Clicking edit opens the documents app.
