PS: @DeepDiver1975 we should not create stable branches here anymore, since the app is discontinued since 8.1, right?

as @nickvergessen pointed out - this is only possible after 8.0 is out of release

as said. this is still in8.0 so not dead yet. let's wait another year until this is really obsolete

what I was trying to say :wink: - but we don't need any new stable branches - right? and we can also remove the stable9 branch - or am I missing anything?

Agreed, no new stable branches required. Also we could change the build scripts to work with owncloudarchive but I'm more concerned about any maintenance code updates than the actual build scripts. So I think just making sure there are no new stable branches should be enough until 8.0 is done and over with
