Make map look nicer #16

Currently the map has the ugly »OpenStreetMap look«. We should style it a bit to make it look nicer, more like what Mapbox has for example.

There are various maps available, which one do you want?

The default Mapbox look is best, if something like that is available. That should be default.

If you find some free Mapbox (or similarly) styled tile server, gnome-maps folks are definitely interested as well. In the end we settled with Mapquest Open as a rendering that is at least slightly more sane than the default rendering. It is still too cluttered though and I can't really stand the washed out colours.

Anyways, just my experience from all this, keep up the good work!

Right, the Mapquest Open is definitely the best layer available on OSM. Thank you @moonlite! :)
