I would prefer a very simple icon, because this is what the app is: simple ;) What about this one: http://iconmonstr.com/map-icon/ It's the same but more simple.

The license of iconmonstr is strange – we can’t use any icons from there. I’ll make a proper custom icon these days.

Would be cool, too. Can you explain what the problem with the license is @jancborchardt ? i'm not a lawyer, but it looked smart to me :)

@stefan-niedermann it’s a stupid custom license. Much better is http://thenounproject.com which uses plain variants of Creative Commons, most commonly simple Attribution.
