Mozilla sync compatibility OC7 #123

Hi!,

I've been looking for info about the compatibility between mozilla sync (1.4) and oc7.

I've installed it on oc 7.0.2 but i can't see any option available, when i try to reach

https://domain.ltd/remote.php/mozilla_sync/

I get my oc session ended, so i have to log in again.

I can't find any statement that says "it works with oc7", i only know that "it doesn't work with oc 6.0" nevertheless oc 6.0.1 is fine....

Any help/advice on this? Thanks

Hi @Ark74! Please have a look at the installation instructions. You don't need to reach the mentioned URL but rather put it into the Firefox Sync config.

I had read the instructions many times, no luck so far. Then changed mozilla_sync to the master git version, and i was able to see the mozilla sync options on Personal & Admin (OC7).

After that i also was able to sync with Firefox 32, just add the string 'services.sync.username' on about:config so we can use the sync v1.1 protocol(?) and follow the instructions on the installation file.

So yes, we can sync with OC7, thanks :)

I think that this guide is required to see for new browsers, Firefox 24 or later.
