user_cas and desktop clients? #27

Is it possible to authenticate desktop and mobile clients via user_cas?

I don't have any problem to authenticate with desktop or mobiel, but I have "Link CAS authentication with LDAP users and groups backend" checked and so "LDAP users and groups backend" configured. But I remeber some test I had done some time ago with another version, and one of them worked when I used the LDAP/CAS id from user that you can see in the "username" column on the "users" admin page.
