Add basic tools like git #24

I know this is more for end users, but I find it handy to be able to fire a VM and clone master + a few apps.

Power users may want to install newer apps as well and they may get told to clone master. Some people would like to help test new features, but setting up a whole dev environment all by themselves just for that is a bit much, so the VM could help them quickly test things.

Is it completely out of scope?

maybe we should discuss what else should be implemented. For now I´ll add git.
