Make it possible to set default media player instead of the built-in #3813

It would be really great if we could set an external application as the default media player. Best if we could map by file type or extension.

I guess just having the option to open by default externally would work, and the OS would handle defaults or app selection.

Use case: I want videos to open in VLC without having to select the video then go triple dot menu then open with and select VLC.
