Hi, I am also interested in this. I would like to use the owncloud app on my mobile device to sync my obisidian vault. Is there a solution for this? So far I have used an external app, but I would like the mobile to be able to do it, similar to the desktop app. Not only on Android, but also in ios :)
Thanks for the interesting suggestion. Two-way-sync has many regards in mobile world, more than in desktop, so we have to check carefully pros and cons. But IMO it's a very interesting feature.
Same usecase as @balmag, would be an awesome feature.

I'm looking for a cloud app which will handle this feature. And my use case is also related to Obsidian
I would love this feature too!
+1, this seems like it should be pretty high on the list of features for something like owncloud...
+1. I want to sync my photos, instead of photo upload feature. Now I'm using syncthing just for this. Would be great to have this feature in owncloud app, as this would give an option to sync photos with family members and their devices. EDIT: I notice several other related requests:
https://github.com/owncloud/android/issues/3126 https://github.com/owncloud/android/issues/3867 https://github.com/owncloud/android/issues/3895
Since this feature is very demanded, we will consider to include it, not in the short term (we have other roadmap priorities right now).
As a mobile user I want to have a folder synchronization on my Android client so that files newly created on the mobile device will also be synchronised through OwnCloud like it works on the desktop.
Use case: The Obsidian app adds new notes by adding new files in a certain folder. In order to sync Obsidian data across devices, they should automatically be uploaded to the OwnCloud like it works on desktop with the “folder synchronization”.
If I use the Android app as is, I need to manually create any Obsidian folder or note in OwnCloud and only then can edit it in Obsidian which is really frustrating and error-prone.
An automatic sync would be very useful, as without it, it is impractical to use synchronisation for Obsidian with OwnCloud. I am sure there are further use cases where this would be very helpful.
Without it, I need to use GDrive with another app to achieve the intended behavior.
