1 year ago I cannot reproduce this with 10.12.0 (sorry for not trying earlier)

Enable brute_force_protection with default settings.

Admin creates a public link on is Documents folder with password 1234 and full write permission.

In another browser session open the link, enter the correct password

Upload download files. Works fine.

In another browser session open the link, enter a wrong password four times.

Public link is blocked. OK

Admin user can log in from this browser session. OK
Looks fine to me. Closing. Please reopen, if you can reproduce the issue with 10.12
Hello, I'm trying to use the brut force module with a public link. I have not changed the default settings. When I log into the public link with a password which was create for and i try to transfer files, i am stopped by the brut force module wich ban me for 5 minutes. i don't understand why the brut force blocks me once the password check pass.
