Windows 1.2.5: Adding new folders then closing mirall causes data loss #653

Expected: Sync client to start uploading new files to the server after first configuration

Actual: Sync client didn't upload files, instead deleted all the files

Windows 7 Desktop, running 5.0.6 and 1.2.5 client

Actions taken:

the same mistake here _csync_remove_file: REMOVED file: C:/Users/rainer\ownCloud/Berichte/Sicherungskopie von Juni 2013.xlk

Several times he has also taken back the changes in the Excel file himself and has substituted for this with an old one that, however, is not always reproduceable.

@rainerxxl thats already good but not good enough ;-| Do you have more? Can you put the entire logfile somewhere to download? Or send by mail ? The problem might originate from the sync run before the one where it was deleted, so it would be great to have that. Troublesome, I know, but thanks.

I cannot reproduce this, and also the logs are inconclusive. However, 1.3.0 will have #666 implemented, i.e. the user will be prompted if all files of a given sync get scheduled for deletion. Still I want this one nailed down. I tried with 1.2.5 on Windows 7 but I so far I was unsuccessful reproduce the "The sync didn't start, so we exited the sync client and started it again." part (Although I see it in 1.3.0, you basically need to wait for the next sync run, i.e. 30+ secs. How long did you wait? When did you interrupt?

I will close this issue for now as there is no indication of its presence in 1.3.0. Should anyone find this is still valid in 1.3.0, please reopen.
