Birthday field shown to be empty even though birthday is set #209

I recently switched from Baikal to ownCloud and used the Android app "Contacts Backup Ultimate" to export the contacts from my Baikal account and import them into my OwnCloud account. (It seems to be one of the few apps that exports contact photos in full resolution.) After the synchronization with my ownCloud server finished, I wanted to make sure it had worked as expected. So I removed all my CardDAV accounts from my phone (I'm using DAVDroid) and added the ownCloud account once again. Indeed, after a minute, all my contacts were there again and everything had gotten synchronized: Contact photos (in HD), contact notes as well as birthdates.

However, if I look at my contacts using the contacts app in ownCloud, it shows the "Birthday" field to be empty for every single contact – even though I see it is set on my phone.

I'm using ownCloud 9.0.0-1.1 with Contacts 1.0.0.0.

Can I ask you for an example vcard with the birthday which is not displayed

@codethief Is this bug still occurring in 1.1? Is it possible for you to provide an example vcard?

@DeepDiver1975 Sorry for the delay. I've been quite busy the past days.

@irgendwie Thanks for telling me about v1.1! I just updated and it seems to work now.

On a different note, is "YYYYMMDD" (without any intermediate spaces, slashes or dots) really the way the birthday is supposed to be shown?
