@micbar what is the situation of this app? It has no tags, no travis or drone CI... There do not seem to be any releases (of the current style).
Should we update this dependency so that it matches what is in core?

This repo has been created a long time ago when we we're modularizing oC server (or "unbundling apps") to be able to release certain apps separately. This files_external
module is still part of files_external
in core
. In other words: We didn't finish unbundling here and this repo doesn't have any meaning, if I'm not mistaken.
Superseded by #44.
