WebDAV and OwnCloud App Access to Spaces #5435

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

The "Spaces" feature allows files and folders to be shared with permissions set by an administrator. It's a great feature, and I'm using it to share files available to all of my users. Unfortunately, the files seem to be unavailable via WebDAV and the iOS OwnCloud app.

Describe the solution you'd like

I'd like to see two features added:

  1. A clear WebDAV URL for each "Space" shown on the "Details" page. I particularly want this for rclone syncing of the contents of "Spaces".
  2. In the iOS OwnCloud app, "Spaces" that the user has permission to should show in the "Access Files" view. As an example use case, a user should be able to view or download a video file in a "Space" they have access to.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I've considered using shared folders associated with each account, but that seems to defeat the purpose of the "Spaces".

Additional context

FWIW, I switched to using OCIS about a month ago and have been really impressed. It's significantly faster than my previous PHP-based install, and has most (but not all) of the features I needed. Thanks for making it!

@kulmann Transfer to web?

@michaelstingl Should we open a new issue in iOS?

Next 12.0 version of the iOS app support Spaces.

You can test-drive a pre-release:

We‘d love to hear your feedback. Issue in the iOS repo would be great if you miss something or encounter problems.

would prefer to create a new ticket about (1) in web, since there is more in the issue description and now also valuable comments that would be unrelated to the web part.
