Proposal: Let user add custom items to left sidebar #7563

Taken from Mac's finder: Let users add items to the left sidebar for faster navigation (kind of like "Favourites). Add items via Drag'nDrop, remove with an x

As it acts like a "Favourite" folder this solution speeds up the process to enter folders even more.

Good idea! Needs the backend-side user settings concept to be far more developed than it is now.

Thanks for offering your help, much appreciated! Unfortunately we'll need a backend side API first, so this issue is currently blocked.
