I've been using the Set POI feature of report location quite frequently, and I wonder whether it'd be simple to remove the preset "POI" string from the dialog:
Ideally the field is empty and the form can only be submitted if it contains a value, alternatively the word "POI" is marked, and typing a first character clears it, like in most iOS fields.
