The sample app should have a few sentences about how to discover all the features its is capable of.

Also the sort-up/sort-down little triangles are grey until they are used -- shouldn't they look the way they do after being toggled twice?

Sorting

Add a section to the tutorial on sorting by a column and then in the sample DT sort by one of the columns

General Note on functions

Agreed - I'll write some bullet points on what you can do.
