What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. As a viewer, click the 'view and edit database structure' button in the
database page
2. Get the message 'no schema to show!'
3. Click 'ok' and see a blank graph-paper background
4. Attempt to add a new table (for instance)
5. See an empty message box with just an 'ok' button in it
6. Click 'ok' and go back to the blank graph-paper editing interface
7. Wonder what on earth is going on.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Viewers and Contributors SHOULD be able to see a database schema, just not edit
it. When they arrive at the schema page they should be able to see the full
schema and be able to drag tables around, but the menu should only have a
'close' option - none of the others. It should also contain a message
explaining that project viewers and contributors do not have the appropriate
permissions to edit the database schema.
