What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a table which contains fields with date or time data types.
2. Edit the contents using the keyboard. Note that the cell background turns
blue, indicating that there are unsaved changes. Save your changes.
3. Edit the same field using the selection tool (i.e the four small arrows
around a central square which appear at the end of the field). Note that the
cell background remains white.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
This is inconsistent, and hence potentially confusing. It also makes it harder
to keep track of which data has been edited, increasing the risk that users
will lose unsaved changes. Ideally, the cell background should change colour
when changes are made using any method.
